Advice and implementation assistance
Where possible, we provide advice in the form of specific, actionable
steps which can be taken by the client and/or the client’s other advisers, to address the issues at hand. We can and do assist in the implementation of these steps, to whatever extent is desired by the client.
Compensation
Our compensation for these advisory services is hourly fees for the
time and person involved in providing the services. These fees are
our only source of compensation. Currently hourly rates for our staff
are shown in form ADV, which is available on this website.
Frequency of contact
Some clients engage us just briefly, to address a specific issue such
as whether to accept an “early out” offer from their employer, or to get
a “second opinion” on a planned or proposed course of action.
However, most clients use us on a regular and ongoing basis, to
develop and implement longer-term plans for investments, taxes,
retirement, and other planning issues. This ongoing
activity can generally be described as “financial planning”. The
frequency and extent of our ongoing assistance are determined by
each individual client.
Registration
FMC is registered as an investment advisor with the states of Kansas and Missouri. We can also advise a limited number of cients in other states in which we are not registered.
